(1999): ERIC. EBSCO. WEB. 21 Apr. 2011 This survey examined alcohol and other drug use among full- and untypical undergraduate students from 18 colleges in New York State. Students completed questionnaires on demographics; working and living arrangements; academics; perceptions of campus substance squall policies; drinking behavior and substance evil patterns; and consequences of use. The study found that alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana were the cap substances used; 81 percent of students reported using alcohol, 46 percent used tobacco, and 34 percent used marijuana. Web. 21 Apr. 2011 The objective of this study was to compare data collected from 508 Greek members at a large, northeastern land grant university in 1994 and 2000, examining bridge alcohol use and its consequences.

This study supports past research findings test a high incidence of alcohol consumption among participation and sorority members. However, by comparing the responses of the 1994 sample to the 2000 sample, many important earthshaking differences were found that provide a more optimistic tactile sensation of the issue of alcohol use among Greek members. These results would suggest that stance there is much wo! rk to do to reduce punishing alcohol consumption among fraternity and sorority members, some progress has been control in this direction.
